Colours
One brand colour, used with intent. Everything else is hierarchy and breathing room.
The mAbV Blue
Pantone 2728 C
Cobalt Blue
A deep, cool ocean royal — calm and credible. The single hue that carries the mAbV brand across every surface, from a vial label to a conference banner.

Why Pantone first
A Pantone reference is a physical-ink contract. Hex and RGB are screen approximations that drift between monitors, browsers, and printers. Pantone 2728 C is the source of truth — every printer, every batch, every market reproduces the same blue when they specify it as a spot ink. Always brief print partners with: "Print the brand cobalt as Pantone 2728 C spot ink, not converted to CMYK."
What this blue says
Deep cool-ocean royal. It signals scientific credibility without the sterile cyan of healthcare clichés, and trust without the corporate-finance navy. Pantone 2728 C is rare in the antibody-startup landscape, which defaults to teal and cyan — choosing it deliberately distinguishes mAbV from the visual noise of the category.
Companion colours
The cobalt does the heavy lifting. Everything else exists only to give it room to breathe.
- Navy — a deeper anchor for headings, dense data, and high-emphasis text. Never used as a brand surface.
- Slate and Muted — quiet supporting voices for body copy and secondary text.
- White and Cool-white — the only legitimate page surfaces. The brand lives on light backgrounds, never coloured ones.
- No greens, no teals, no purples in brand contexts. The palette's discipline is its signature.
