Printer instruction

For premium runs where brand consistency across vendors matters, request a Pantone spot plate. Include this verbatim instruction in your brief:

"Please print the brand Cobalt as PANTONE 2728 C spot ink, not converted to CMYK."

For standard CMYK print runs, the kit ships press-ready FOGRA39 CMYK files in 2.print/pdf/ and 2.print/eps/ — lockup, full logo, and simple logo in both formats — sufficient without a Pantone plate. EPS provided alongside PDF for older RIPs and merch printers.

Do's and Don'ts

Do's

  • ✓Keep clear space around the logo equal to the height of the V mark.
  • ✓Use the simple logo below 32 px height — never compress the full mark.
  • ✓Preserve the brand colour: #0047BB digital · Pantone 2728 C print.
  • ✓Use DM Sans for any accompanying type.
  • ✓Use the white-on-Cobalt social avatar for any profile photo.

Don'ts

  • ✗Don't recolour the logo outside the listed treatments.
  • ✗Don't squash, stretch, skew, or rotate the mark.
  • ✗Don't add effects — shadows, glows, outlines, gradients.
  • ✗Don't convert the Pantone plate to CMYK without explicit permission.
  • ✗Don't place the logo on a background close to Cobalt (#0047BB ± 20%).
